We are totally pumped about this month’s episode! We were honored to have our good friend James Hunnicutt as our featured guest. In the interview, James talks about his love for Star Wars, his upcoming plans, as well as his reaction to “What Would James Hunnicutt Do”. He also opens up and discusses the sacrifices that come along with being a musician. He also answers some questions that our fans submitted for the interview; one we know that he has never been asked before! Whether you’re a James Hunnicutt fan or not this is a can’t miss interview.

This episode is also special because all the songs played are from Farmaggedon Records artists. We play The Goddam Gallows with Blackeye Vermillion, Highlonesome, Graham Lindsey, Rachel Brooke, Jayke Orvis, The Calamity Cubes, as well as J.B. Beverley. We would have loved to have played songs from all the artists involved with the label but there just wasn’t enough time in the show. Heck, maybe that will just mean we need to have another Farmaggedon special later in the year!

In this episode, Blake announces that he is finally moving out of his “roommates” house, Amish BJ only drinks water, and Coley confesses to trying to cut off BJ’s arm. In honor of James Hunnicutt’s love for Star Wars and it being Valentine’s Day, we have a very special installment of “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things”. You will be amazed at what some people will do for a plastic action figure!

Well another year has passed here in the dirty stalls of IBWIP. In this special extended addition of IBWIP we have a ton of great music and special guests to help us celebrate our 50th episode. Amish BJ takes his normal seat as Blake’s right hand man but really did a lot of extra stuff to make this episode special and I want to give a big shout out to him and thank him right off the bat. During the show we also have some awesome people sit down with us and share the mic. Sean Phillips from What Would Sean Do, Jashie P from Outlaw Radio Chicago and Last False Hope, as well as a very special sit in by the one and only Uncle Bubba. Yes, folks that is right, Uncle Bubba is back and him and Amish B.J really kick Blake’s ass throughout the show! We were also honored to have Professor KAK come in and give us an educated look at IBWIP and it’s effect on modern culture. This segment with Professor KAK actually lead to the name of the episode being changed to it’s current title “4 Years of Making People Poo”.

To even begin to describe what all is in EP50 would take way too long to type (and I am one lazy S.O.B). It would also ruin all the surprises! We can tell you though that The Christy Boys make an appearance; Uncle Bubba, Amish BJ, and Blake become prophets; Sean tells us why his job kicks ass; and Jashie P gives us some breaking news! We also give listeners all the details on Cocker’s cousin Peter and how to have him come to visit your town!

Put what matters the most (as it always has for 4 long years) is the music and we play a ton of it. More songs than I think that we have ever played on an episode of IBWIP. We spin new music from Slackeye Slim, Curst Sons, Rachel Brooke, The Honky Tonk Hustlas. Along with songs from The Blind Staggers, Whiskey Clan, The Wild Boars, The Glass Child, Old Sleeper, Those Darlins, Possessed by Paul James, and Aran Buzzas. I mean seriously folks, if we played anymore music you’d have to punch your dog!

So thank you to all our new listeners as well as our long time faithful followers. Without you guys (and three girls) we wouldn’t keep coming back to bring you the gospel. All we ask is that you enjoy the banter, the music, and tell at least 10 friends about the new episode. We bring the music to the masses and hope in return you’ll bring us into the ears of your friends, relatives, and life partners. Thank you again for being such awesome fans but more importantly the most kick ass extended family that we could ever ask for! See yall in July.

I know I told y’all that I was through doing the show, but the opportunity to work with Amish BJ and Chris Miller and talk about our new GVTL game was too awesome to pass up. So I pulled out the old podcasting equipment and pressed record. Now your probably wondering, “What the hell is GVTL?” You’ll just have to listen to find out! Make sure that you have a pen and paper because your going to want to follow along (or start composing your complaint letter). Normally I give alot more detail in our show notes but I dont want to spoil any of the laughs. It’s time for the 3rd Annual It Burns When I Pee Halloween Bash! In this episode Blake is joined again by the one and only Amish BJ. What starts out as a Halloween Special quickly turns into talk of kidnapping donkeys, canker soars, and the mysterious disappearance of 150 Facebook fans. BJ and Blake also discuss what Blake needs to do to “Get back the edge”. We get another letter from an attorney during fan feedback, and BJ’s wife interjects to talk about boobies and advises us to get back to talking about Halloween.

And if that wasn’t enough… we have one of the most fun interviews we have ever had on IBWIP. Jakye Orvis, James Hunnicutt, and Rachel Brooke sit down for a little 1 on 3 time with Blake after one of the shows during their tour. Well we knocked the rust off the mixer (and it shows) and are back to bring you EP27 of It Burns When I Pee. This episode features a DOUBLE interview with Rachel Brooke and Lonesome Wyatt to promote their new album “A BITTER HARVEST”. We chat with each of them to get their take on the project and play a couple songs from the album. It was great having them both back on the show. If you haven’t went and ordered the CD yet, your missing out.

We are also playing some great music from Hogscraper, Scott H. Biram, The Calamity Cubes, Lucky Tubb, Dwight Yoakam, and The Perreze Farm.

In this episode Norma Jean and Blake discuses online dating, come up with a new term for oral sex, and we make a few phone calls. One of these calls was to Blake’s mom and it was funny as hell! We also have a featured interview with Kara Clark. She is a talented singer/songwriter and it was great having her on the show. We will be playing a couple of her songs along with songs from Highlonesome, Robbie Fulks, David Allan Coe, Misery Jackel, and a song from Wayne “The Train” Hancock’s new album Viper of Melody.

As always, Norma Jean reads some fan feedback… the difference this time is that she is sober! Yes it’s true, Norma Jean records her first ever episode of IBWIP without her famous bottle of wine. Don’t worry though guys, she still gives up an “interesting” fact about herself.

Along with some online dating tips (IBWIP Style) you will hear about Asian mail order brides (Yes Blake is still looking into that), an online dating success story from Matt and Liz, and we even talk about “boy shorts!” It was a great time and if you missed the recording session on Pee-A-Vision you also missed out on another Norma Jean Cam (which is only available to live viewers on Pee-A-Vision). And finally we give a preview of EP27 in May. It will be our two year anniversary and will also be our last show. In this episode of IBWIP we introduce you to just a few of the talented (and beautiful) ladies that are out there putting their own THANG in TWANG. We were lucky enough to get to have Rachel Brooke as our featured interview. She’s got an amazing voice and a style all her own. We are also going to feature music from Star Anna, Elizabeth Cook, Carmen Lee, and Little Lisa Dixie.

Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of IBWIP without another great comedy skit. Unfortunately, we are unable to mention the title do to the legal issues that we have currently found ourselves in (which we talk about anyway). Trust us though, it’s well worth the listen.
