Here in the dirty stalls of IBWIP we are gearing up for an exciting time. We are only a couple weeks away from the first ever Christy Fest and around a month away from our 5 year anniversary show.  In this episode we feature a great interview with JB Beverley. We discuss his new solo album, upcoming Wayward Drifters music, as well as Muddy Roots and the diversity of his musical career. We also have two very special songs by JB.

We feature music by Trampled By Turtles, Blaze Foley, Justin Townes Earle, Ronnie Hymes, Lone Wolf, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, and Carrie Nation & The Speak Easy.

In this episode we tried a little something new and it lead to the name of this episode. It was the first time we had decided on a show title before we even finished the episode. Leave it to Coldbeer to give us another classic IBWIP moment. We also do another round of Would You Rather. This time Amish BJ and Coldbeer  have a difficult choice to make. It’s interesting for sure. We “discuss” the passing of Dick Clark, Amish drunk drivers, and update Christy Fest one last time before the big event. Coldbeer again provides us with a classic Fan Feedback segment, although I still don’t understand what the word “refreshing” means! Blake has another annoying soundboard that he can’t stop playing with and Amish BJ counts down into the New Year and finally we have rare back stage audio of the crew and Mollz.

This episode right here will be our Thanksgiving episode although there are no references or mentioning of Thanksgiving.  Its only because tomorrow is Thanksgiving that is why this will be our Thanksgiving episode.  I mean why in the hell do we celebrate Thanksgiving as a holiday?  It’s when pilgrims came to this land and raped, pillaged, and murdered the native Americans now is that really something to celebrate?  Well before I get in the show description allow me to give thanks to what I am thankful for……I am thankful that I WAS NOT A FU@KING INDIAN WHEN THE PILGRIMS LANDED ON PLYMOUTH ROCK!!!!!!!!!!  Enough of that , on this episode we got a CD review by Brett Detar and his CD “Bird in a Tangle” if you haven’t heard of him then holy fnck you are missing out.  I will be playing 3 songs off this CD and if you like it you can get it free yes that right FREE,  just download it at brettdetar.com.  Also on the show we will have music by The Dirt Daubers, Chuck Ragan, Pete Yorko, Greenland is Melting, Ronnie Hymes, Christina Louise, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Hick’ry Hawkins, The Knotwells, Ghoultown, C.W. It’s time for the 3rd Annual It Burns When I Pee Halloween Bash! In this episode Blake is joined again by the one and only Amish BJ. What starts out as a Halloween Special quickly turns into talk of kidnapping donkeys, canker soars, and the mysterious disappearance of 150 Facebook fans. BJ and Blake also discuss what Blake needs to do to “Get back the edge”. We get another letter from an attorney during fan feedback, and BJ’s wife interjects to talk about boobies and advises us to get back to talking about Halloween.

And if that wasn’t enough… we have one of the most fun interviews we have ever had on IBWIP. Jakye Orvis, James Hunnicutt, and Rachel Brooke sit down for a little 1 on 3 time with Blake after one of the shows during their tour. On episode 56 the featured guest is Curtis Eller……and for those of you that don’t know who he is…..well, for the most part he is a one man band. Just Curtis and his banjo. Picture this its the 1800’s and you walk into any saloon U.S.A. and the entertainment on stage well there he is folks that’s Curtis Eller. Curtis Eller could also be an extra in Gangs of New York, But beating your ass with a banjo instead of a club. How often can you get a history lesson when listening to music and it still be cool? Well with Curtis that is what happens. In this episode we pay up on a bet we had with our pals at Verbal Abuse, but add our own IBWIP twist. We give our spin on Canada. Uncle Bubba talks about 16 things that they are good at, Mrs. Bubba imitates a moose, and Blake gives us insight to God being from Canada. We also feature a new segment with Mrs. Bubba. We have a voice mail, talk about The Round Table Podcast, Mrs. Bubba and Mrs. Happy dating each other, and MUCH MUCH MORE.

In the music department we play more music than we have ever played before. We play music from Johnny Falstaff, Big Jugs, Ronnie Hymes, Dave The Road Man, Weird Al, Slick Rick, Adam Lee & The Dead Horse Sound Company, Twisted Sister, The Devil Makes Three, and Edwin Clarence Graves. The White Trash Revival episode 34 with your favorite host Donnie Fncking Cash features an interview with one of Bob Wayne’s carnies….not quite an outlaw carnie but he is one of Bob’s carnies so to say……Dog Bite Harris folks, Bob’s favorite merch maniac is now a bad ass country arteest himself (and a damn good one might I add). Also on the show is Elvis Proctor from the label Pint of Happiness introducing ya’ll to some of his artists and their music such as Johnny Pabst, Cattle Truck, The Phil Davis Band, Ronnie Hymes, and Owen May. A few vulgarities by Don and more music by Doop & the Inside Outlaws, Rockin-Billy & the Wild Coyotes, Sam Houston, Jeremy Stedding, Right On John, John Trollman, and The Train Wreckers.
