We are totally pumped about this month’s episode! We were honored to have our good friend James Hunnicutt as our featured guest. In the interview, James talks about his love for Star Wars, his upcoming plans, as well as his reaction to “What Would James Hunnicutt Do”. He also opens up and discusses the sacrifices that come along with being a musician. He also answers some questions that our fans submitted for the interview; one we know that he has never been asked before! Whether you’re a James Hunnicutt fan or not this is a can’t miss interview.

This episode is also special because all the songs played are from Farmaggedon Records artists. We play The Goddam Gallows with Blackeye Vermillion, Highlonesome, Graham Lindsey, Rachel Brooke, Jayke Orvis, The Calamity Cubes, as well as J.B. Beverley. We would have loved to have played songs from all the artists involved with the label but there just wasn’t enough time in the show. Heck, maybe that will just mean we need to have another Farmaggedon special later in the year!

In this episode, Blake announces that he is finally moving out of his “roommates” house, Amish BJ only drinks water, and Coley confesses to trying to cut off BJ’s arm. In honor of James Hunnicutt’s love for Star Wars and it being Valentine’s Day, we have a very special installment of “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things”. You will be amazed at what some people will do for a plastic action figure!

So with having one on the most difficult “computer” months ever here at IBWIP we finally finished EP55. Amish BJ (under the weather) and Coldbeer Coley join me as we discuss everything from Blake’s tour schedule, fights at Chucky Cheese , and Coley’s mysterious problem with Hall & Oats . We update everyone on Peter’s travels across the country, and discuss the breakup of The .357 String Band. In this episode we also feature an interview with Hellbound Glory front man Leroy Virgil. We also spin tunes from Kara Clark, Willy Tea Taylor, The Calamity Cubes, Tom Russell, The Blind Staggers, Aran Buzzas, and The Ugly Valley Boys . And it wouldn’t be an episode of IBWIP without a little conversation with the Christy Boys.

On this episode of It Burns When I Pee we turn the table around and poke fun at ourselves. Blake, Uncle Bubba, and Mrs. Bubba tell some embarrassing tales about one another. These stories include fire, running over people, poor safety patrol, and custom car painting. Of course nothing tops the NEWEST and most embarrassing story in IBWIP history! It’s amazing what Blake will do to reach 400 fans.

Episode 43 “Remember that one time…” also features NEW music from Slackeye Slim, Slate Dump, and Big Jugs. We also spin tunes from The Calamity Cubes, The .357 String Band, The Bastards of Apocalypse, Joey Henry’s Dirty Sunshine Club, and Skid Row! At the end of the show we also feature a short interview with the guys from The Calamity Cubes when they were in town in June.

We are also proud to announce that IBWIP has two new employees. Diva Dave and Encyclopedia Billy’s lives will never be the same! We also read some fan feedback, give an update on where Cocker has been hiding, and end the argument of who is going to read the contact information. Also, Blake decides he is one of the Beatles, plays the trumpet and Mrs. Bubba gets cocky with her new found podcasting fame.

I remember the time when I was 8 I was sent to live with my father for the summer in West Virginia. My mother had a one night stand with the tilt-a-whirl operator at the local carnival……she was 13 he was 27. Anyway I was sent to stay with him during that summer he got paroled .His parents were some devout Christians (you know the snake handling kind) and he lived with them, so the first weekend I was there they took me to church.  The church really freaked me out people drinkin’ stuff from a mason jar and holdin snakes while dancing and hollerin. Well ol granddad (not the whiskey) handed me a mossy creek copper head and……….I’ll be god damned if that sum bitch didn’t bite me 13 times.  Well needless to say i was rushed to the local hospital and deemed the spawn of Satan.  I haven’t seen my father or my grandparents since then and really the only reason I brought this story up was because on this episode I interview the Reverend Deadeye and during the interview we discuss religion, music and more so stay tuned ……also on the show we have music by J.B. Beverly and the Wayward Drifters, C.W. Come join Blake, Uncle Bubba, and Mrs. Bubba as they put the IBWIP twist on Valentines Day. This episode is jam packed with laughs and great music. We feature an interview with Joe Huber from The .357 String Band and we play a couple songs from their new album.  The crew discusses topics like The Super Bowl, who shares a birthday with Mrs. Bubba, and The Bubba’s stop smoking.  The Fan Feedback reveals that everyone loves Mrs. Bubba, and we revisit the great debate; The Anus vs. The Rectum Part Duh. Mrs. Bubba answers questions about the vagina and much, much, more. As for music, we stay true to our Anti-Valentines Day theme by playing songs from The Calamity Cubes, The Meat Purveyors, The Pine Box Boys, Lonesome Wyatt and The Holy Spooks, Uncle Scratch’s Gospel Revival, and as a special dedication we play a song from N.W.A.

After treading toilet water for the last couple months, IBWIP is back to bring you the kinda show you expect from us. I thin episode we feature an interview with The Calamity Cubes. They are a great group of guys and an amazing band. Blake also introduces his NEW right hand man Uncle Bubba. We take a trip to Bubba’s farm to get to know him a little better.

Of course we jam out to music by Steve Earle and The Del McCoury Band, Slowgun Shogun, Stacy Puckett, David Allan Coe, Pawnshop Roses, and four tunes from The Calamity Cubes.

Well we knocked the rust off the mixer (and it shows) and are back to bring you EP27 of It Burns When I Pee. This episode features a DOUBLE interview with Rachel Brooke and Lonesome Wyatt to promote their new album “A BITTER HARVEST”. We chat with each of them to get their take on the project and play a couple songs from the album. It was great having them both back on the show. If you haven’t went and ordered the CD yet, your missing out.

We are also playing some great music from Hogscraper, Scott H. Biram, The Calamity Cubes, Lucky Tubb, Dwight Yoakam, and The Perreze Farm.
