This week’s show is bringing awareness to the cause of getting Hank Williams reinstated BACK into the Grand Ole Opry. We have an interview with Keith Nelter of Neltercreative.com; who is working as an Assistant director to Blake Judd of Juddfims.com. Keith is also working on a Hank 3 on a DVD entitled “Reinstate Hank” that will hopefully be out later this year. Also lots of Hank Williams music by ole Hank himself and other artists covering his tunes. Other artists include: Hank Williams III, Junior Brown, The The, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Ricky Skaggs, John Fogerty, and Lamitte and the other Fingers Band. Plus Jared Morningstar and Onemorename have a conversation about the reinstatement of Hank, his life, and music… Plus we have some phone shoutOUTs to Hank Williams from members of the Hank3.com cussin’ board!

Help bring awareness to the reinstatehank.org website and please sign the petition online. You can also look for the reinstate Hank signature book that will be at all the upcoming reinstate Hank rallys taking place this year! Get ready to be STUNG this week with the featured bootleg artist “W.A.S.P.” recorded in 1986 at the Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo, Japan this is a very nice sounding show and Blackie Lawless leads them through a great setlist of tunes! And as always Jared Morningstar and I review albums/bootlegs/mypace bands. This week is the new album from Those Poor Bastards called “the Plauge”. Other artists include: Gin Palace Jesters, Sleep, Those Poor Bastards, Clinton Miller, Pumpjack, and Whiskey Daredevils.

It’s the moment you have all been waiting for… Episode #12 of It Burns When I Pee! The Valentines Day Massacre is here! We have been gone for almost two months, but we are back to fight the good fight for underground/Alt-country. On this episode we feature an interview with Bill Anderson (of the Meat Purveyors). In the interview we talk about his career, the in and outs of The Meat Purveyors, and what he is doing now a days. We are also going to premier our new comedy skit, The Trailer Park Dating Game. This is probably the most extensive skit we have done thus far. The show is as usual filled with music from the likes of The Von Ehrics, Stacy Dean Campbell, Joecephus & The George Jonestown Massacre, OldBoy, Hank Williams Sr, and of course some tunes from The Meat Purveyors. And if that wasn’t ENOUGH… we have our pal Jared Morningstar back on the show to read an essay he has written. Of course there is more, but we can’t give it away! It Burns When I Pee keep’s throwing great interviews and music at you, and it is no different with Episode #7. In this episode we have a great interview with William Elliott Whitmore. William is an amazing singer and songwriter and we were honored to have him on the show. We play three of his songs throughout the show. We also have Jared Morningstar on the show, and he will be reviewing Robbie Faulks’ album Revenge. We also play another song from our new favorite band from Germany, HANKCASH. And finally as an added bonus, we have Peter Chestnut back on the show. For those of you who have listened to Episode #1 you’ll remember Peter. Here it is folks. Episode #6 of It Burns When I Pee. In this installment, we pay tribute to Hank Williams Sr. Hank would have been 84 years old on September 17th. We have a great interview with Beth Birtley from the Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. We are going to play some of Hank’s song preformed by the likes of Joey Allcorn, Hank III, Andy Norman, Hank Cash, and Jake Penrod. We will also be playing some of our favorite Hank songs preformed by the man himself. We will also have Jared Morningstar on the show and he will be reading an essay that he wrote about the late great Hank Williams.
