The Song: Inside and Out Episode #0004 “Ray Vietti”

In this episode we welcome long time friend, Ray Vietti of The Harmed Brothers, to the show. We last talked to Ray on EP119 of IBWIP. In this episode Ray and I discuss his song, “Greetings From Mardi Gras” from the album, “All The Lies You Wanna Hear”. Although the song was released in 2010, I thought it would be a great song to talk about and find out about his inspiration. Ray did an amazing job discussing the origins of the song in great detail. It’s a really interesting story that prompted Ray to write the song. The events that he wrote about in this song were instrumental in the forming of The Harmed Brothers as well. The guys have even recently re-recorded the song for an album that is slated to be released in February 2016. Ray even discusses the chord progression for the song and he and I come to the conclusion that everything in life ALWAYS leads back to the F. It was great having Ray on and this episode and it s shaping up to be one of the best I have done in my 8 years of interviewing artists.
