As we near the witching hour, IBWIP brings you their 2nd Annual Halloween Special. On this epiosde we preview some songs from Devil’s Ruin Record’s new compilation CD: Rodentia: The Best of Dark Roots Music. We play songs from Strawfoot, The Dad Horse Experiance, Christian Williams, Lonesome Wyatt & The Holy Spooks, and our good friend Slackeye Slim. We also spend some time talking to Slackeye Slim during our interview segment.

Your probably thinking to yourself, “That’s a jammed packed show!” but IBWIP doesn’t stop there. During the show we launch our newest segment, “Earlene’s Sexy Time Advice Segment.” Earlene gives advise to a listener who emailed us about his sex troubles. With Creepy Guy on house arrest, Norma Jean steps up as Co-Host and hit’s a GRAND SLAM! She talks about her trip to Sin City, her birthday, and you’ll never guess what she offers up to the fans. It’s a must hear! The IBWIP auction, our professional photo shoot with Redcorn Studios, and we get clarification on EP19’s question of “What is chalkin?” are just a couple more topics we hit on.

Episode #0019 “So Many Jugs… So Little Time”

As the summer comes to a close, we heat up the inter-net with another socially inappropriate episode of It Burns When I Pee. Norma Jean (and her kissin partners: Sarah Bear & Natalie), along with Creepy Guy and NTBNTBBTOB join me in Get Your Hank On Studio and we bring you a jammed packed show. In this episode we feature an interview with the band BIG JUGS. These guys are awesome and we were honored to have the whole band on the show. We will also spin a couple of songs from their new album, “Ridin’ Dirty”.

We are going to rack up a special dedication for the late great Don Helms, and of course we can’t have a September show without showing some love to the birthday man himself… HANK WILLIAMS. If you haven’t heard, The Meat Purveyors got back together to do a new album and we have an exclusive track from that album to play. There will also be a great song from the band Politically Erect along with a Rolling Stones song. I know… we are all over the board on this episode. Ha Ha Ha!

We talk about tons of stuff in this episode as well. BEWARE: Norma Jean is drunk and Ryan is under the weather, but we still had a great time. We talk about our trip to the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party, the IBWIP Auction, fan feedback, and we press play and have Norma Jean and her kissin partners watch some more porn. Of course we are not going to leave you itching for some comedy, we have another great IBWIP Dating Game skit. This time host Blake Clayton is the guy looking for “Ms.Right”.

As the dust settles and construction on the new IBWIP nears completion, we bring you Episode 17 with a whole new format, new cast members, and an all round better program. We feature an interview with Jayke Orvis, from the .357 String Band, and play a couple of tracks from their new album Fire & Hail. In this episode we also unleash our new co-host Ryan “Creepy Guy” Hamm to you the listener.

Blake and Ryan also take a couple minutes to talk about the Tim McGraw concert fight video, Norma Jean watch’s Two Girls and One Cup for the first time, and we play IBWIP Jeopardy. We do another one of your famous IBWIP Giveaway’s. This time we are giving away an awesome Spfanzine.com T-shirt and a Hank Cash CD.

With summer finally here, we get to spend some time with Jared Morningstar as he provides us with an album review of Justin Townes Earl’s new album, The Good Life. Jared also has a new show of his own that we will let you know about.

But most importantly we have some tracks to play from great bands that are out there but corporate Nashville is keeping you in the dark about. Welcome to the start of “the new beginning” here at IBWIP. For those of you that survived the wrist splicing of Episode 15, we promise this episode will make up for it. We’ve cleaned up the stall a little bit and are ready to piss all over your shoes!

I can’t believe it’s been one year that we have been doing IBWIP. It’s been an interesting ride since our first episode featuring Joey Allcorn. All I can say is; THANK YOU! Without you the fans, the show wouldn’t be what it is today. So here we go with Episode 15 featuring an interview with Wayne Gottstine from Split Lip Rayfield. We also have the final installment of Billy’s Lessons to put a smile on your face. The show comes to you straight from the NEW Get Your Hank On Studio! This episode is a very special show because we have Dave Sisson (from The Gin Palace Jesters and Three Blue Teardrops ) right here in Get Your Hank On Studio’s.
