Welcome to the start of “the new beginning” here at IBWIP. For those of you that survived the wrist splicing of Episode 15, we promise this episode will make up for it. We’ve cleaned up the stall a little bit and are ready to piss all over your shoes!

We also share with you The Bubba The Love Sponge Show‘s shitty ass review of our podcast. Hey, we can take a little constructive banter!

This weeks show features a fantastic sounding vintage bootleg set with AC/DC from the Bon Scott era that was recorded in 1977. This AC/DC bootleg was a FM broadcast; so the quality is very high. Also Jared Morningstar and Onemorename review the Melvins new album entitled “Nude With Boots.” We also play 3 songs from it. PLUS lots more music from the following artists: Hank 3, Laney Strickland Band, Rush, The Shivers, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Leslie West, and Zane Campbell.

This weeks featured Bootleg Artist is “The Georgia Satellites“. Roecorded on 10/6/1987 in Boston, Mass, this was an FM broadcast that is pretty good on quality.  Also Jared and Onemorename review the new album from “Mudcrutch“.  Mudcrutch is Tom Petty’s first band and they have finally reunited after almost 40 years.  Plus lots of other music throughout the 2 hour show.  Other artists included:  Eleven Hundred Springs, Derailers, Erik Koskenin Band, AC/DC, Bomshel, Texas Rifles, and the Flat Tires.

This weeks featured Bootleg Artist is one of the very best blues/rock guitarist that we have left: Walter Trout and the Radicails. Recorded on 10/6/2006 in London, England, this is a smokin’ set from Walter Trout. And what turned out to be a special night for the fans as well. Since their organ/keyboard player had troubles, the show turned out to be a straight forward POWER TRIO set for the night… Priceless!!!

This week Jared Morningstar and Onemorename review the new release from the Raconteurs called “Consoler Of The Lonley”. Other artists this week included: Johnny Jessup, Lamitte and the other Fingers Band, Ministry and CO-conspirators, Matt Begley and Bitter Whiskey, the Melvins, Clutch and of course I end my show with some Zane Campbell!

I can’t believe it’s been one year that we have been doing IBWIP. It’s been an interesting ride since our first episode featuring Joey Allcorn. All I can say is; THANK YOU! Without you the fans, the show wouldn’t be what it is today. So here we go with Episode 15 featuring an interview with Wayne Gottstine from Split Lip Rayfield. We also have the final installment of Billy’s Lessons to put a smile on your face. The show comes to you straight from the NEW Get Your Hank On Studio! That’s right; a bittersweet anniversary show where we celebrate one year of IBWIP and morn the loss of something so much more important. Listen close and don’t push STOP till the end.
