In mid July I was lucky enough to have Danny Kay and The Nightlifers crash at my place while they were coming through town on their way to Farm Fest 2013. After their gig in Pekin Illinois at the High Note Danny and I sat down at 1:30am and did an interview. Danny and I talk about how he got into Rockabilly, song writing, Kickstarter, and his new album Crazy Lonesome Blues. Rorie (the IBWIP mascot) even joins the interview. It’s a great time and I am sure that you will enjoy getting to know Danny Kay a little better.

Off the Mark Episode #0177

A MAJOR WWE superstar is out for 4-6 months. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0107 “An Interview with Ten Foot Pole Cats”

We were lucky enough to meet up with the trio blues band The Ten Foot Polecats while they had a gig in Pekin Illinois at the High Note. Jay, Chad, and Jim sat down with us in the green room and we talked about the band, hockey, friendship, and their new album Undertow. I promise after listening to the interview you will have a little bit of a Boston accent for the next few hours.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0106 “An Interview with Joey Allcorn”

In this episode, we feature an interview with our long time friend Joey Allcorn. Joey is putting together a CD project to benefit The Hank Williams Museum. It’s a really interesting project that includes artist such as Jake Penrod, Rachel Brooke, and many more. In the interview we also discuss “Nothin Left To Prove” which is a new album that Joey has in the works as well as his involvement with the “Outlaws Still At Large” book by Neil Alexander Hamilton.

Off the Mark Episode #0175

A TNA talent is let go from the company and some people are stating this one REALLY hurts the company.  Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has some heat against him.  On WWE programming this week, Daniel Bryan wrestles for over 30 minutes and the Best vs the Beast is set for Summer Slam.  ON TNA this week, AJ and Daniels have some great matches with surprising results.   For our weekly topic, we discuss the rumored recent comments made by Triple H regarding some of the TNA talent; is he right or wrong.  We also discuss which TNA talents would work and not work in the WWE.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew @ahughes86, and Aaron @aphughes. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0105 “Bacon Soda of Ipecac”

This episode of IBWIP is one of a kind. We invite a couple new players into IBWIP Studio and by the end of the show we are glad we did. Negative Nick and Jason join Mute Jacob and Blake around a table and the rest is radio gold.

In this episode we play unreleased music from Joey Allcorn, some Sturgill Simpson, new Dog Bite Harris, Bloody Ol’ Mule, and legendary Jerry Jeff Walker.

This episode is pure radio gold from start to finish. We play an interesting round of Would You Rather, Stay In Character, and we get a visit from world famous Wife Whisperer, Stevon Piere Lions. Be prepared folks because you won’t stop laughing for 2 straight hours!

We also give Mute Jacob some tips to help him get laid, Blake talks about Molly and her recent jealousy issues, and we drink Bacon Soda. There is so much more by why ruin all the excitement.
