This week we are featuring part of a John Fogerty 2-disc live bootleg show recorded 11/10/07. (It is just a great sounding and a very good quality bootleg.) Also Jared Morningstar and myself review the new album from Justin Townes Earle called “The Good Life”.  Other artists include: Roy Fox and the Country Blues {< my dads band}, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Webb Wilder, Pumpjack, Black Oak Arkansas, Carmen Le and the Tomorrow River Two, Dave Hole, and much MORE mixed up in between.

Welcome to the dirty stalls of It Burns When I Pee! This episode is a very special show because we have Dave Sisson (from The Gin Palace Jesters and Three Blue Teardrops ) right here in Get Your Hank On Studio’s. We were honored to have Dave with us and had a great time hangin out with him. Just wish Andy had brought his power cord. We play a couple songs from the Jesters and a song from Three Blue Teardrops. We also have a HUGE announcement regarding an amazing new partnership! Who said that we would never amount to anything!

In this episode we spin some tunes from The Steeldrivers, The Devil’s Own, and our good friend Carmen Lee. I read some feedback, talk about The Reinstate Hank campaign, and much much more. Of course what would an episode of It Burns When I Pee be without tons of inappropriate comedy?!

Bootleg Asylum Radio Show (04/04/08)

This will be the “last weekly” podcast of my Bootleg Asylum Radio Show untill this Fall. I will be airing live shows Midnight “est” the first and third Friday of each month at flapdaddy.com. The podcasts will be out the following Tuesdays here at section86.com.

This podcast features my favorite band from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and right up till now! The band is MOUNTAIN featuring (original members) Leslie West & Corky Laing with the help of Richie Scarlet on Bass. I combined 2 bootleg MOUNTAIN shows together that were recorded in 2005 and 2007. The 2005 set features special guest Warren Haynes of Gov’t Mule jamming with Leslie on some Cream cover songs; Priceless!!! Other artists inclued: Frank Zappa, Chaos Theory, White Barons, Thee Merry Widows, and BR-549. And as always, we have our Album/Myspace band/Bootleg review with Jared Morningstar. This week Jared reviews Gus Lambros & Electric Mud‘s album called “Bad Gamble”.

This week’s show is bringing awareness to the cause of getting Hank Williams reinstated BACK into the Grand Ole Opry. We have an interview with Keith Nelter of Neltercreative.com; who is working as an Assistant director to Blake Judd of Juddfims.com. Keith is also working on a Hank 3 on a DVD entitled “Reinstate Hank” that will hopefully be out later this year. Also lots of Hank Williams music by ole Hank himself and other artists covering his tunes. Other artists include: Hank Williams III, Junior Brown, The The, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Ricky Skaggs, John Fogerty, and Lamitte and the other Fingers Band. Plus Jared Morningstar and Onemorename have a conversation about the reinstatement of Hank, his life, and music… Plus we have some phone shoutOUTs to Hank Williams from members of the Hank3.com cussin’ board!

Help bring awareness to the reinstatehank.org website and please sign the petition online. You can also look for the reinstate Hank signature book that will be at all the upcoming reinstate Hank rallys taking place this year!
