Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good… to listen to! It’s the 4th annual IBWIP Halloween episode. In this episode, we have music by The Meat Purveyors, Carmen Lee and The Tomorrow River Two, The Pine Box Boys, Johnny Cash, Those Poor Bastards, Split Lip Rayfield, Whitetrash Whiplash, The Dirt Daubers, Bobby Bare Jr, Hellbound Glory, and more!

In this episode, IBWIP spits out their first album review. We review Bobby Bare Jr. album A Storm, A Tree, and My Mothers Head. We also discuss The Podcasting God Blake Clayton’s new show and SCM.com. We prep for Halloween by exposing Amish B.J’s bad influence on Coldbeer Coley and having an interview with a REAL Vampire! We also talk about Blake and Uncle Bubba’s trip to Vegas, Coldbeer Coley kissing strippers, and wanting us to have people threating to kill us (wouldn’t that be awesome).

And having the Christy’s on the show wouldn’t be complete without some time spent with Liam and Sean. We talk more about Peter’s travels, our new IBWIP T-shirt offical release date, and a whole lot more. Come join the fun and spend the evening with us.

3-2-1… It’s time for another episode of It Burns When I Pee. Amish BJ and I welcome Coldbeer Coley onto the show for her first run at being our female co-host. We talk about our Muddy Roots experience’s, read a couple of the submissions to the Amish BJ Hate Mail Contest, and we honor our newest friend PAGS from Canadian.

This episode also features a really great interview with Lucky Tubb. We will be playing a couple of songs off his new album, “Del Gaucho”. We also play music by Husky Burnette, The Left Lane Cruisers, John Howie Jr, Modern Earl, Cletus Got Shot, Hank Williams Sr, and Split Lip Rayfield.  We also have an original song produced by IBWIP called Cocker’s Hollar. This is a tribute to our lost friend Cocker.

We also have a new IBWIP contest where you could win an autographed copy of Lucky’s new album! This album isn’t even available to the public yet! So make sure you listen close to the “rules” and get your submission in as soon as possible. There is a lot of stuff that we go over in this episode and we didn’t even scratch the surface of what was originally planned for this episode.  To make a long story short (which is difficult for Coldbeer Coley to do) this is a long episode but worth it for sure.

I know I told y’all that I was through doing the show, but the opportunity to work with Amish BJ and Chris Miller and talk about our new GVTL game was too awesome to pass up. So I pulled out the old podcasting equipment and pressed record. Now your probably wondering, What the hell is GVTL? Youll just have to listen to find out! Make sure that you have a pen and paper because your going to want to follow along (or start composing your complaint letter). Normally I give alot more detail in our show notes but I dont want to spoil any of the laughs. I will tell you that we play music from 500 Miles to Memphis (NEW), The Wild Boars (NEW), Adam Lee & The Dead Horse Sound Company (NEW), The Honky Tonk Hustlers, The Blind Staggers (NEW), Scott H. On February 17th, The Hank in Chains Show returns on its new home, Ustream.tv! In addition to the great music from all genres that you’ve come to expect, the first Ustream episode of the show will focus the music of Warren Zevon. It isn’t the first time we’ve featured Zevon, and it certainly will not the last. This time, we will be taking a look at a few different styles and themes of the sadly underrated late singer/songwriter who was far more than “Werewolves of London”. Now that you have cleaned up from Thanksgiving dinner and you have kicked all your annoying relatives out of your house, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the latest installment of It Burns When I Pee entitled “Intervention”.

In this episode we feature a face to face interview and music by Split Lip Rayfield. We also feature music by Truckstop Coffee, Ashley Riley, Liquorbox, Holly Golightly and The Brokeoffs, J.R Preston, and Doktor Barkey. As well as great music this episode is filled with TONS of laughs. Uncle Bubba calls Blake out for hitting on Mrs. Bubba and Blake sings…. ALOT! We put our own personal spin on that pathetic commercial holiday known as Valentines Day. Get Your Hank On Studio was packed as Blake, Norma Jean, Creepy Guy, and our new buddy Jahshie P (from Outlaw Radio Chicago) set up shop behind the mic and cranked out EP24 “Cupid Killers”. Heck we even had Destiney standing watch over the crew.

In this episode we give you what you all have asked for: MORE MUSIC! We play tunes from Split Lip Rayfield, Hank 3, Johnny Cash, Porter Hall Tennessee, The Steeldrivers, Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, and many more. We are even going to premiere “Blake’s Song” which was written by our very own host Blake Clayton and preformed by his out of state crush Little Lisa Dixie.

Our great friend Howard, from The Bootleg Asylum Radio Show, wrote and produced this months skit called Open Crotch Necklace. We thank Howard for doing all the work on this skit because we know how it would have ended up if Blake would have wrote it. HA HA HA! We also have a couple of voicemails from some of our fans, and a special song by Blake’s niece, and of course Norma Jean is going to read some fan feedback (we tried to have her do it before the booze kicked in but…). We also call Creepy Guys girlfriend on the phone… Sarah Bear was so excited she couldn’t even talk!

We talk about some new albums that are coming out in the next few months, some shows that IBWIP will be attending in March, and Norma Jean unlocks the secrets of her SEX DRAWER! It was a great time and the live vidstream, “Pee-A-Vision” turned out really good as well.

Come on in to the dirty stalls of IBWIP and join us as we stick the middle finger up at POP COUNTRY and Valentines Day!
