With our new format we are now releasing interview episodes as BONUS episodes that will be released on Tuesday’s. Our first one is the bad ass gals of Slaughter Daughter. On this episode, they perform live “The Last Moon Ballet” and “Siren” with the help of their friends from Larry & His Flask, Dallin Bulkley, and Andrew Carew. Ariana Celestine and Cecilia Raheb then hand out under a street light outside of The High Note in Pekin IL and talk to us for awhile. We talk about how they met, how the band got it’s name, and how they write songs. We also discuss tattoo’s, musical influences, and relationships. We discuss a guy named Reco, Ariana’s touring dog, and much much more. Come check this episode out as a vidcast as well as a podcast.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0125 “Chloroform”

This episode was originally slated to focus on the Olympic’s, but it quickly turned into a show that went all over the place. From Nurse Courtney telling a listener on the live chat that there is no such thing as too much chloroform; to Jason using the “R” word so much that Mollz about kicked his ass. We also had Eugene Buckeye in the studio and he was… excited! Blake confessed to knowing a lot about satanic cults, Mollz losses badly at Fact or Crap, and finally we talk about world news. This basically consists of someone dying, somebody from Pennsylvania that kills on Craigslist, somebody being gay. This episode is all over the place and its a ton of laughs along the way.

Music you ask? Where is the music? Well we have brand new music from Lydia Loveless, The Reverend Horton Heat, Iron Orchard, and we also spin tunes from Larry & His Flask and Lucky Tubb. It’s a damn good time so get your headphones on and take a listen.

In this episode of IBWIP, among many things, we celebrate Amish BJ’s birthday and salute Amy Winehouse as only IBWIP can. We read some constructive Fan Feedback which results in Amish BJ issuing a new IBWIP contest right on the spot! Make sure you listen up and try to win the last remaining IBWIP T-shirt we have! Episode 47 is a follow up show to the Muddy Roots Festival. Although I didn’t get to go everyone there still had fun without me and probably more so. On this show we have an interview with Jason the man behind The Muddy Roots Festival. Find out how the turnout was and what to expect next year.All the music I will play on this episode will be bands that I have in my repertoire of music that played at the show such as: Larry & His Flask, Dave Smith and His Country Rebels, Dash Rip Rock, Turley, The Delta Saints, Cutthroat Shamrock, Cletus Got Shot, Wayne Hancock, The Goddamn Gallows, Jason & The Punknecks, Pearls Mahone & The One Eyed Jacks, Soda, and a set by Billy Joe Shaver.
