On this episode of IBWIP we have two special co-hosts. Blake and Jason welcome Whiskey Chaser and Nurse Courtney back to the show. We play music ALL NEW music from Highlonesome, Barnyard Stompers, and Shadows Inc. The show line-up includes: Celebrity Birthdays, IBWIP News Bulletin, IBWIP Speakeasy, and High Brow on The Low End.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0065 “Spin Cycle”

Have you ever wanted to play Hide-N-Seek with your child but didn’t have any place to hide them?  Do you know what year the pilgrims held the first Beer tasting competition?  Have you ever run backwards in a cornfield? If you answered “no” to any of these questions then you need to listen to this episode of IBWIP.  In this episode we also play music from Tom Vandenavond, Highlonesome, The Meat Purveyors, Juke Joint Pimps, and The Pine Hill Haints.

Amish BJ, Coldbeer, and Blake talk about Blake’s struggles with having to fend for himself since Mollz is away visiting “The Rat”. Coldbeer and Amish BJ get new mics, BJ has to wipe his butt with a magazine, and Blake drinks orange Fanta soda in his “techno” mug. We also do “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things” where we discuss a ninja saving a young boys life. We also call long time fan Ira who tells us about his pussy poop.

We talk about the new IBWIP Auction for Autism which is a very important event coming up in mid September. Coldbeer decides the Camp Crusty sign for this year’s Muddy Root needs to go PUNK. We also announce big news for the next two episodes which includes an exclusive from The Pine Box Boys on EP66.

The Groovy Rednecks are Hollywood honky tonkers; so yes they are a rare gem. Also, they have performed over 700 shows together mostly in the L.A. area. The interview is pretty long, but it is oh so good. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0058 “Be a Pencil not a Crayon”

We are totally pumped about this month’s episode! We were honored to have our good friend James Hunnicutt as our featured guest. In the interview, James talks about his love for Star Wars, his upcoming plans, as well as his reaction to “What Would James Hunnicutt Do”. He also opens up and discusses the sacrifices that come along with being a musician. He also answers some questions that our fans submitted for the interview; one we know that he has never been asked before! Whether you’re a James Hunnicutt fan or not this is a can’t miss interview.

This episode is also special because all the songs played are from Farmaggedon Records artists. We play The Goddam Gallows with Blackeye Vermillion, Highlonesome, Graham Lindsey, Rachel Brooke, Jayke Orvis, The Calamity Cubes, as well as J.B. Beverley. We would have loved to have played songs from all the artists involved with the label but there just wasn’t enough time in the show. Heck, maybe that will just mean we need to have another Farmaggedon special later in the year!

In this episode, Blake announces that he is finally moving out of his “roommates” house, Amish BJ only drinks water, and Coley confesses to trying to cut off BJ’s arm. In honor of James Hunnicutt’s love for Star Wars and it being Valentine’s Day, we have a very special installment of “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things”. You will be amazed at what some people will do for a plastic action figure!

In this episode Norma Jean and Blake discuses online dating, come up with a new term for oral sex, and we make a few phone calls. One of these calls was to Blake’s mom and it was funny as hell! We also have a featured interview with Kara Clark. She is a talented singer/songwriter and it was great having her on the show. We will be playing a couple of her songs along with songs from Highlonesome, Robbie Fulks, David Allan Coe, Misery Jackel, and a song from Wayne “The Train” Hancock’s new album Viper of Melody.

As always, Norma Jean reads some fan feedback… the difference this time is that she is sober! Yes it’s true, Norma Jean records her first ever episode of IBWIP without her famous bottle of wine. Don’t worry though guys, she still gives up an “interesting” fact about herself.

Along with some online dating tips (IBWIP Style) you will hear about Asian mail order brides (Yes Blake is still looking into that), an online dating success story from Matt and Liz, and we even talk about “boy shorts!” It was a great time and if you missed the recording session on Pee-A-Vision you also missed out on another Norma Jean Cam (which is only available to live viewers on Pee-A-Vision). And finally we give a preview of EP27 in May. It will be our two year anniversary and will also be our last show. So make sure that you dial up our voicemail number and leave us a message so we can play it on the final episode.
