We are proud to have Chelsea McBee back in the dirty stalls of IBWIP. In this interview we talk about her new album “The Whiskey Album” which features her band The Random Assortment. We also play 2 new songs from the album, The Devil Himself and Try Again. As well as one of my favorite Chelsea tunes Audrey Pearl.

Of course the interview doesn’t just stop at music talk. We discuss Whiskey, tattoos, lottery tickets, road rage, and much more. This is one of those interviews that is just plain fun to listen to. Chelsea is an amazing artist. If you haven’t heard her music then you should definitely check out this interview.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0068 “We’re Not Total Dicks”

This episode is our IBWIP/SSR Auction for Autism wrap up show. In this episode, we play music from Joe Huber, Chelsea McBee, Slackeye Slim, Danny K and The Night Lifers, and Lone Wolf OMB. These are just a couple of the artists that were kind enough to donate to our auction. When we thought about doing this auction, we never imagined it would have such an amazing turn out. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the folks that donated, DJ’s on SilentStormRadio, and The Christy Family. Most of all though, we want to thank all those who bid on items and donated. YOU CAN STILL DONATE a dollar amount at our donation page.

In this episode, we retire “Would You Rather”. During this final installment, which Amish BJ and Coldbeer are very upset about, we try to help BJ win and Coldbeer wants to make a TANGWHICH. We also review the IBWIP Survey results. Mollz gets busted and Blake has swamp balls again. Amish BJ can’t find a beer and Blake has trouble talking twice during the show. We also discuss the IBWIP/SSR 12 hour telethon. Coldbeer loved the guest host Batman and the pirate that promised her son a $37,000.

In the spirt of the holiday season, we here at IBWIP have wrapped up a great little show for ya’ll. Not only do we have a great face to face interview with The Dirt Daubers (prior to their show at Cantina’s in Pekin IL) but we also have music from Tom VandenAvond, Chelsea McBee, The Ten Foot Polecats, Resta^Rant, Old Sleeper, and The Pogues. We also do an album review for Fred Eaglesmith’s “6 Volts” and spin a couple tunes from the album. And if that wasn’t enough music, we also have a special X-mas song from The Pine Box Boys exclusively from their 2011 X-mas card.

We also have a couple of give-a-ways for our fans. We bring back our new segment “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things” as we talk about a lady getting busted for making METH in a Walmart. For some reason, we burp A LOT in this episode too. In the spirit of X-mas, Amish BJ, Coldbeer Coley, and Blake sing their version of “The 12 Days of X-mas”. There is a negative fan feedback, Blake comes out, and we update Peter’s travels and ChristyFest. Finally Blake announces he is throwing his hat in the the presidential election for 2012.

Yes, it’s true. Blake rides solo again without Norma Jean or Creepy Guy on episode 29. But have no fear yall… there is still a great interview/music with Chelsea McBee. We spin some tunes from Split Lip Rayfield, Missy Gossip and The Secret Keepers, The Meat Purveyors, The Hackensaw Boys, and Lemon Demon.
