In this episode of IBWIP, among many things, we celebrate Amish BJ’s birthday and salute Amy Winehouse as only IBWIP can. Love is in the air. No, it’s not a really late Valentines Day episode, it’s the new episode of IBWIP. We are having a wedding in the dirty stalls and we are excited to share such a special moment. A couple of our favorite listeners, Derek and Tawny, were kind enough to let us record their special day. We also feature an interview with our good friend Slackeye Slim and discuss in detail his new album. In the show, BJ and I discuss what makes a good marriage and even get Coley on the show to get a woman’s point of view. We talk about shooting a pig, Canadians, why all our fans are homophobic, and Amish BJ’s new show Friday Happy Hour. Come and hang out with us.

Well another year has passed here in the dirty stalls of IBWIP. In this special extended addition of IBWIP we have a ton of great music and special guests to help us celebrate our 50th episode. Amish BJ takes his normal seat as Blake’s right hand man but really did a lot of extra stuff to make this episode special and I want to give a big shout out to him and thank him right off the bat. During the show we also have some awesome people sit down with us and share the mic. Sean Phillips from What Would Sean Do, Jashie P from Outlaw Radio Chicago and Last False Hope, as well as a very special sit in by the one and only Uncle Bubba. Yes, folks that is right, Uncle Bubba is back and him and Amish B.J really kick Blake’s ass throughout the show! We were also honored to have Professor KAK come in and give us an educated look at IBWIP and it’s effect on modern culture. This segment with Professor KAK actually lead to the name of the episode being changed to it’s current title “4 Years of Making People Poo”.

To even begin to describe what all is in EP50 would take way too long to type (and I am one lazy S.O.B). It would also ruin all the surprises! We can tell you though that The Christy Boys make an appearance; Uncle Bubba, Amish BJ, and Blake become prophets; Sean tells us why his job kicks ass; and Jashie P gives us some breaking news! We also give listeners all the details on Cocker’s cousin Peter and how to have him come to visit your town!

Put what matters the most (as it always has for 4 long years) is the music and we play a ton of it. More songs than I think that we have ever played on an episode of IBWIP. We spin new music from Slackeye Slim, Curst Sons, Rachel Brooke, The Honky Tonk Hustlas. Along with songs from The Blind Staggers, Whiskey Clan, The Wild Boars, The Glass Child, Old Sleeper, Those Darlins, Possessed by Paul James, and Aran Buzzas. I mean seriously folks, if we played anymore music you’d have to punch your dog!

So thank you to all our new listeners as well as our long time faithful followers. Without you guys (and three girls) we wouldn’t keep coming back to bring you the gospel. All we ask is that you enjoy the banter, the music, and tell at least 10 friends about the new episode. We bring the music to the masses and hope in return you’ll bring us into the ears of your friends, relatives, and life partners. What do you get when you put the Podcasting God, a college professor, Captain Tomorrow (AKA Captain Tuesday), an Amish husband and wife, and an angry GVTL team owner on a bender all together on Skype? An It Burns When I Pee DEATH MATCH!  I’d like to fore warn everyone that this episode is difficult to follow along with at times, but just the experience alone is worth the time and effort you take to listen.  In this episode we have a heated debate about Rule #6 of the GVTL and whether Professor KAK violated this rule in her challenge to Mrs. Coley.  We also talk about scoring issues as well as how to track standings within the GVTL.   As always it wouldn’t be IBWIP without great music to keep your toes tappin.

On EP48 we play music from Cornmeal, The Devil Makes Three, Joe Hubert, Dirtfoot, and The River City Rat Band.  We wanna thank these bands for letting us have the honor to play their stuff.  Again, it’s hard to keep track of what all is going on in this episode but it’s still a great time.  Hell, grab a pen and paper and take notes!  Make sure you also check out our Facebook fan page (Discussion tab) to get all the rules and scoring for GVTL and come play with us!   HEE HEE!

I know I told y’all that I was through doing the show, but the opportunity to work with Amish BJ and Chris Miller and talk about our new GVTL game was too awesome to pass up. So I pulled out the old podcasting equipment and pressed record. Now your probably wondering, “What the hell is GVTL?” You’ll just have to listen to find out! Make sure that you have a pen and paper because your going to want to follow along (or start composing your complaint letter). Normally I give alot more detail in our show notes but I dont want to spoil any of the laughs. So as some of you (that actually listen to the show) know we moved out of Get Your Hank On Studio. It has been one pain after the other trying to get everything done. We couldn’t skip doing Episode #30 because Hank’s birthday is Sept 17th. So I loaded up the computer and went over to Beans-N-Franks Studio to record the show. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues there as well. Thanks to Matt, Liz, and Andy we are getting this Mini-Pee episode out to y’all. It’s only about a half hour long but I picked some great Hank tunes to play. And for those of you that listen to the show for the music only your in luck…. there isn’t much banter in between. Ha Ha. I must say though the stuff we have planned for EP31 at the end of September will be well worth the wait. Take a half hour out of your day and download this special Hank Williams Tribute.

For all the folks that told us that they hated waiting a whole month to get a new episode of IBWIP, we bring you the first “Mini-Pee” show. In this episode Blake drives solo and features a two part interview with Joey Allcorn. It was great having Joey back on the show (he was the first ever guest on EP01) and we are honored to talk about his new album “All Alone Again” and play some songs from the new album plus a couple of our favorites from his first album “50 Years Too Late”.

We also take a few minutes to talk to our good friend Michelle about our participation in the fight to cure juvinile diabetes. We are hoping that our listeners will head to our Myspace page or our JDRF donation page and help us raise money for this worthy cause.

Shame on you if you think that only guys can make kick ass REAL country music! In this episode of IBWIP we introduce you to just a few of the talented (and beautiful) ladies that are out there putting their own THANG in TWANG. We were lucky enough to get to have Rachel Brooke as our featured interview. She’s got an amazing voice and a style all her own. We are also going to feature music from Star Anna, Elizabeth Cook, Carmen Lee, and Little Lisa Dixie.

Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of IBWIP without another great comedy skit. Unfortunately, we are unable to mention the title do to the legal issues that we have currently found ourselves in (which we talk about anyway). Trust us though, it’s well worth the listen.
